I’m a Southern Girl from North Carolina. I moved abroad years ago from the United States with my mom who retired early after working hard so many years as a single mother. 

I met my husband, adopted some fur babies, and later we had our beautiful daughter Elliana. I had what some would consider a later pregnancy at 36. A natural and hard 18-hour labor and delivery at a birth center but I would do it all again to get our miracle girl.

Things don’t always happen in our time but God is good and I feel so blessed. I would never have imagined my life like this years ago but now I cannot imagine anything else. Our family is my joy and heart and I thank the Lord every day for allowing me to be a Wife and Mother.

The days are long and sometimes hard but the years short as they say. May I practice presence with thankfulness and find great joy in motherhood. I invite you to join me.
